1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to the Michiana Boat Show website (“Site”), operated under Indiana Boat Shows. By accessing or using this Site, purchasing tickets, or attending the Michiana Boat Show event (“Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Site or attend the Event.

2. Ticket Sales and Pricing

2.1 Ticket Pricing

• Adults: $10.00 per ticket
• Children 12 & Under: FREE admission

2.2 Ticket Purchase

All ticket sales are processed through Eventbrite, our third-party ticketing partner. By purchasing tickets, you also agree to Eventbrite’s Terms of Service. Tickets must be purchased prior to or at the Event entrance.

2.3 Ticket Validity

Tickets are valid only for the specific date(s) and Event shown on the ticket. Each ticket grants one-time admission to the Event on the specified date.

3. Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers

3.1 Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. Refunds are not available except in the following circumstances:

• Complete cancellation of the Event by the organizers
• As required by law

3.2 Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Event due to circumstances including but not limited to:

• Inclement weather or natural disasters
• Facility issues or emergencies
• Public health concerns
• Acts of God or circumstances beyond our reasonable control

In the event of a complete cancellation, ticket holders will be notified via email and will receive a full refund. If the Event is rescheduled, tickets will be honored for the new date(s). If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement.

3.3 Ticket Transfers and Exchanges

For questions regarding ticket transfers, exchanges, or modifications, please contact Eventbrite directly through their platform. We do not handle ticket transfers or exchanges directly.

4. Event Admission and Conduct

4.1 Admission Requirements

• All attendees must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) at the entrance
• Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult
• We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone without a valid ticket or who violates these Terms

4.2 Prohibited Activities and Items

The following are strictly prohibited at the Event:

• Weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, etc.)
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Outside alcohol or beverages
• Disruptive, threatening, or abusive behavior toward staff, exhibitors, or other attendees
• Smoking or vaping inside the venue (except in designated areas)
• Professional photography or video equipment without prior written permission
• Solicitation or distribution of promotional materials without authorization
• Pets or animals (except service animals)

4.3 Removal from Event

We reserve the right to remove any attendee who:

• Violates these Terms and Conditions
• Engages in illegal activity
• Behaves in a manner that threatens the safety or enjoyment of others
• Refuses to comply with venue rules or staff instructions

No refunds will be provided to attendees removed for violating Event rules.

5. Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully as it limits our liability.

5.1 Assumption of Risk

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You attend at your own risk
• You are responsible for your personal belongings and valuables
• We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
• Boat shows involve inherent risks including crowds, uneven surfaces, and exhibition activities

5.2 Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Michiana Boat Show, Indiana Boat Shows, and our officers, directors, employees, agents, vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, damages, or expenses (including medical expenses) arising from:

• Personal injury, illness, or death
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
• Any act or omission by exhibitors, vendors, or other attendees
• Facility conditions or equipment malfunctions
• Any other cause related to your attendance at the Event

5.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Michiana Boat Show, Indiana Boat Shows, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your attendance at the Event or violation of these Terms.

5.4 Limitation of Damages

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for your ticket(s).

6. Photography and Recording

6.1 Event Photography

We may photograph, videotape, or otherwise record the Event for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes. By attending, you grant us the irrevocable right to use your image, likeness, or voice in any photographs, videos, or recordings taken at the Event without compensation or approval.

6.2 Personal Photography

Personal photography and video recording for non-commercial use is permitted. However, professional equipment or commercial use requires prior written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Trademarks and Copyrights

The “Michiana Boat Show” name, logo, and all related branding, as well as the “Indiana Boat Shows” name and branding, are the intellectual property of Indiana Boat Shows. All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

7.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission
• Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from this Site for commercial purposes
